Ales for Trails 2010 - That was fun!

Prescott's riding community did it again with more than 300 smiling riders filling the Raven Cafe from wall to wall.  It was proof again Prescott is the place to be.

This year's event was a smashing success thanks to the amazing support of the event sponsors.  We hope you get a chance to stop by these local businesses to say thanks and give something back for their contributions.

We'd also like to thank the volunteers who made the night smooth and fun.

SORRY YOU COULDN'T MAKE IT, SHU.

Steve and Martin celebrate their raffle wins.  The raffle prizes seemed to go on, and on, and on....

Steve Lummer won the New Belgian Brewing company Fat Tire cruiser - lucky dog.

Proceeds from the kegs donated by New Belgian Brewing Co went to PMBA and the Raven Cafe's bike rack project.

Monique, Tina and Brandy sure know how to sell the cotton. If you didn't get a shirt and you want one, let us know.  We have a few left and will be printing more to meet the demand.

Rachel shows of the sweet Timbuk2 bag she won in the silent auction.  Thanks to Dave Wheeler of Manzanita Outdoor, the auction table was fat with amazing items.

Matt (left) won the $300 Thule rack gift certificate provided by Manzanita Outdoor.   Rob Hehlen won the Ahnu shoes, Dan won the Rudy Project sunglasses, Momo won Smith sunglasses, Jim scored the Osprey Raptor pack, Mary walked away in Olukai sandals - all prizes offered by Dave Wheeler of Manzanita Outdoor.

Daryl from Form Cycles of Sedona stopped by to let everyone see the beautiful frames they make.  We're honored to have such high zoot bikes made in our back yard.  If you have not seen his work, you should really swing by the Form Cycles web site to check them out:   FORM

Eric Nelson walked away with the Grand Prize - two round trip tickets compliments of Horizon Air.  Horizon Air is dedicated to the Prescott mountain bike community and we wish them all the best.  Thank you for your support!

A tremendous thank you goes to Dave Wheeler of Manzanita Outdoor.  Without his help we would not have been able to secure support from Osprey packs, Thule racks, Ahnu shoes, Olukai sandals, Timbuk2 bags, Rudy Project, Adventure Medical kits and others.  Stop in and say thanks to Dave if you get a chance.  And yes, he's one of us - a fellow rider.

We also need to thank Steve and Cindy of High Gear Bike Shop.  Cindy can make a sweet gift basket any mountain biker would love to have.  Prescott's riding scene is better for having High Gear in it.  Thank you.  Tina Ooley won the Rudy Project Sunglasses High Gear donated and she was stoked!  Thank you, Steve and Cindy.

Additional gratitude goes to Todd Sadow of Epic Rides, Scott Brady of Overland Journal, Jim Knaup of Ironclad Bicycles, Ed Furbush of Southwest Sounds and Cycles,  Mike of Action Graphics, and of course The Raven Cafe and the amazing people within.

The Raven Cafe was a perfect venue for this shin-dig.  Max, Tony and the rest of the Raven staff did a fantastic job of making sure everyone was happy.

Greg and Max - Both did a ton of work to get the night dialed in for this event.  Gracias.

Kent won the Mountain Hardwear Courier bag provided by Manzanita Outdoor.

The Raven Cafe went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home and have a good time.

SEE YOU ON THE TRAIL!

Sincerely,

Raven Singletrack
